What is Gendercide?
Gendercide is gender-selective mass killing. The term was first used by Mary Anne Warren in her 1985 book, Gendercide: The Implication of Sex Selection. The term has become associated with the killing of girl children, born and unborn, because of a preference for baby boys in some cultures.
